The Kitiki Studio provides a comprehensive Art Clay educational programme as classes, masterclasses, workshops, and Art Clay Level 1 and Level 2 teacher-certification courses.

The scheduled courses are listed on the Kitiki timetable. However, open days, arts and crafts events, extra classes, masterclasses, workshops, and general jewellery courses, are often added. If you're interested, mail or call.

When you successfully complete an Art Clay Level 1 or Level 2 course, there are lower prices for Art Clay, kilns, tools, and materials. You don't need to set up an account: just mail or call with your certificate number.

Kitiki actively supports The Art Clay Club, helping to collate information about silver clay, gold clay, cork clay, kilns, tools, materials, projects, courses, and Art Clay teacher-certification. It's a free resource, 24 7 52: you don't have to register, log on, or remember a password.

When courses are held here in Corfe Castle, Dorset, we provide all the tools and materials you need, including kiln time so that you can fire and finish your work. And, for day courses, a freshly-made lunch is included, either here at The Kitiki Studio or at The Greyhound Inn beside the castle.

We're in beautiful countryside surrounded by pretty villages, historic buildings, clean beaches, dramatic cliffs, protected coves, open heathland, and panoramic views.

We're eight minutes from Wareham station, on the Waterloo to Weymouth line. Corfe Castle is on the Poole to Swanage bus route. Trains and coaches arrive at Poole from across the UK, and Heathrow. Parking is easy and free.

COURSES

For beginners, we run The Magic of Art Clay classes. You learn the basic techniques and make a silver leaf, a bracelet charm, a necklace, a pendant, or a pair of earrings, ready to give or wear. These are in the evening, from 16:00 to 19:30. Materials are included, and you get 10% off anything bought on the day.

For children, we run Silver Leaf parties. You learn to make a silver leaf on a chain, ready to give or wear. These are usually on a Saturday afternoon and are timed to suit you. Materials and appropriate food are included, and you get 10% off anything bought on the day.

For beginners, modelmakers, resellers, retailers, and catalogues, we run An Introduction To Art Clay courses. You learn the basic shaping, firing, and finishing techniques, including using syringe clay and setting a stone, and usually make three pieces. These are one day courses, from 11:00 to 17:00, and you get 10% off anything bought on the day.

For jewellers, metalsmiths, craftworkers, potters, teachers, and studios, we run Art Clay Level 1 and Level 2 teacher-certification courses. These cover all the basic materials and techniques in detail, including setting stones and using gold clay. At each level, you usually make 7 pieces.
These are three or four day courses, from 9:30 to 17:30. Materials are included and, at Level 1 you get 20% of Art Clay and at Level 2 you get 36% off Art Clay. As a reseller you get 40%. As they're popular, you need to book in good time, especially if you want to stay locally.

Although workshops and courses have start and stop times, breaks, and lunch, we're very flexible. There's no pressure to finish on the dot, if you're still working.

We also run courses on demand that are not listed on the timetable. Sometimes we'll just have one person, sometimes a group, sometimes you can choose a venue if you want to get a group together. If you're interested, mail or call.
